About this position
Objective: Operates and maintains cutting, slicing, and packaging machinery used in fresh-cut produce manufacturing. Ensures the equipment is running smoothly, and that product quality is maintained during production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure to follow proper safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.
- Report any production issues or safety concerns to management.
- Set up and operate fresh-cut production machinery, such as slicers, dicers, and peelers.
- Monitor equipment for signs of malfunction or wear, and report issues to maintenance.
- Adjust machinery settings to ensure proper cut sizes and product quality.
- Ensure the work area is clean and all safety protocols are followed.
- Trained on operations LOTO
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in operating manufacturing equipment, especially in food production, is preferred.
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Operates with the utmost integrity and trust
