Essential Functions

  • Set up and maintain your station with all required mise en place, tools, and equipment prior to service
  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in accordance with established recipes, standards, and plating guidelines
  • Consistently uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and execution
  • Keep your station clean, organized, and fully sanitized throughout service
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures (FIFO)
  • Assist with prep work and daily production as needed to support overall kitchen operations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with chefs and team members during service
  • Practice proper portion control and actively work to minimize waste
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Break down, clean, and reset your station at the end of each shift
  • Support the kitchen team and adapt quickly during high-volume or fast-paced service periods
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  •  Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume and/or upscale restaurant environment preferred
  • Strong knife skills with a solid foundation in core cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
