Job Summary:The sales and marketing assistant position requires knowledge of basic social media and marketing as well as data input, and customer service principles. Employee will be responsible for social media, website management, event planning and performing basic data entry. This is a part-time position. Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in managing social media account profiles and posts across all social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook & Tik Tok. Maintain an up-to-date social media calendar Assist in maintaining company website to brand standards with current information including event page Assist in planning and set-up of scheduled events on the farm Assist in planning, set up and orchestration of Gala fundraising event Assist in special public events and activities Create and send out thank you letters for previous donors Assist in creating newsletters Organize and update inventory in Event Room Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Understanding of marketing Knowledge of social media platforms Knowledge in Canva or inDesign Customer service principles Strong verbal and written communication skills Blogging experience, a plus Skilled in typing/word processing Must be organized and detail orientated Ability to work well under limited supervision Time management skills Adaptable/flexible, ability to adjust to frequent shifts in direction Minimum Qualifications:High School Graduate or equivalent, some college credits in marketing or communications is preferred One year of marketing experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education Experience using all types of social media platforms Proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word and Excel Must be comfortable around animals and working in a farm office
