About the role

Entropico is expanding in the US, and we’re looking for an Executive Producer to anchor our New York presence. This is a chance to join our talented global creative studio, build relationships with top agencies and brands, lead award-winning productions, and grow a diverse talent roster. You’ll collaborate with our LA and Australian teams on ambitious projects that span film, photography, and post while helping to define the company's creative and commercial direction.

Responsibilites

Sales & Business Development

• Attract and create exciting opportunities from within your network and beyond, particularly with East Coast clients, while maintaining and establishing relationships with agencies, brands, and potential co-production partners.
• Lead treatment and bidding processes, contributing strategy, ideation, and concept development both internally and with clients.
• Oversee the development of internal formats from initial idea to final sales pitch, including production of written pitch materials, decks, and sizzle edits, ensuring alignment with Entropico’s values and goals.
• Work alongside Entropico’s marketing lead on press, awards, and growth strategies, and look for opportunities to excel both within and beyond existing project scopes.

Production

• Develop, produce, and execute best-in-class work across film, photography, and post-production, whether through traditional DTC workflows, our VIA agency stream, or our Originals stream.
• Lead and manage project teams in collaboration with other EPs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Entropico’s high standards.
• Work in tandem with the Australian development team and executives to create smooth workflows between offices, maximizing the creative talents and ideas across locations.
• Add value to all productions and processes, improving the overall creative output of Entropico through teamwork, innovation, and collaboration.

Leadership & Relationships

• Align with Entropico partners on financial and creative goals, contributing as a senior creative force within the organisation and ensuring targets are met in step with the leadership team.
• Foster and further the careers of our directing roster, recruiting exciting and diverse creative voices to grow the team, while mentoring and guiding producers and other team members.
• Source, hire, and manage new talent, including freelancers and full-time employees, and work collaboratively across teams to maintain the highest quality output.
• Thrive both autonomously and in team scenarios, always acting in the best interests of Entropico.

• Refine processes across sales, pitching, production, and internal workflows to maximize efficiency, creativity, and quality.

Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in the film and advertising industry.
• Previous experience in an Executive Producer or Associate Executive Producer role.
• An extensive network of agency, crew and supplier contacts. 
• Thorough understanding of finance, pitching, production and post-production workflows. 
• High-level strategic business competency. 
• A passion for storytelling and new technology. 
• Great taste. 
• Empathic leadership.
• Ambitious, agile and self-sufficient - with an ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced and dynamic creative environment.
• Strong strategic business and finance skills.
