Part-Time Psychiatrist


Join Global Neuro and Spine Institute and become part of a collaborative, patient-centered team dedicated to improving mental health and overall well-being. 


This is a part-time position (three days per week) offering a balanced schedule across in-person and telehealth care:


  • Tuesdays: In-office in Fort Pierce
  • Wednesdays: In-office in Jensen Beach
  • Thursdays: Telehealth services provided remotely

Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments in outpatient settings.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
  • Collaborate closely with medical providers, therapists, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Assess mental status, treatment response, and medication effectiveness while adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and appropriate ICD-10 coding for compliance and billing.
  • Provide consultation and guidance related to behavioral health within integrated care and occupational health contexts.

Requirements:

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a psychiatry residency program.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and billing procedures.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
