This position is full-time and must work a minimum of 38 hours per week. 

a. General Responsibilities

i. Responsible for performing all duties to support the Bank’s marketing and outside sales functions; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the marketing function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports. 

b.  Essential Duties

i. Performs various duties to support the Bank’s marketing and outside sales functions as follows:

1. Creates and implements marketing and public relations programs that will promote all services and products and favorably project the Bank's image and goals.

2.  Selection of appropriate advertising and determines the best media to use to convey the Bank's ideas; monitors results and reevaluates efforts.

3. Selection of product promotional programs; communicates information to employees and assists with the implementation of such programs.

4. Prepares and distributes materials relating to presentations, promotions, and advertising.

5. Maintains an accurate and current awareness of the marketing programs of competitive financial institutions; identifies current customers and possible opportunities for increased business. 

6. Is a member of the Bank’s ALCO committee.

7. Develops and reviews market research data on a regular basis to gather information on interest rates for loans and deposits and information on related products and services.

8. Development and implementation of specific and measurable marketing objectives.

9. Manages the Bank’s website, Company Store and Promo Store programs.

10. Attends, and represents the Bank at various community, business, and educational functions to develop an awareness of the Bank's services, and to strengthen the Bank.

11. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all Bank products and services to ascertain customer needs and to sell in conjunction with these needs.

12. Solicits new business from present and prospective customers; maintains ongoing business relationships with present customers to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities.

13. Coordinates Bank involvement in community and civic activities:

a. Acts as liaison with sponsoring group.

b. Communicates and schedules activities.

c. Recruits participation from bank staff.

14. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

15. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  1. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  2. Complies with established operating policies and procedures to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank's adherence to outside regulatory requirements.
  3. Communicates with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.
  4. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area, or to requests from other Bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

5. Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.

Ancillary Duties

· Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Requirements:

Education/Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study; specialized sales and marketing education and training.

Skill(s):  Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient composition skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills; proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and implementing marketing strategy; a working knowledge of current and proposed bank regulations affecting the marketing function; proficient PC and Desktop Publishing skills; ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions normally required.



Salary Information

$22.00 - $25.00 Hourly Wage
