ART SUMMER CAMP SITE DIRECTOR The Deerfield Park District's mission is to provide outstanding parks, services, facilities, and recreation programs that enrich lives, promote healthy living, and provide memorable experiences. To support our over 25 parks and facilities, we have a dedicated and diverse workforce of over 500 staff seasonally. We are an award-winning Park District with multiple distinctions of excellence, including our Best Workplace for Commuters. We are looking for someone to come teach our Design art rotation and make it their own! Whether it's recycled art, multi-media art, etc., the choice is yours. We have a flexible team that loves new and innovative ideas that they can pass on to the campers and show them a new way of looking at art. As site director, you would create a lesson plan for the summer, put together a supplies list for the supervisor, and then get to spend your day with the campers teaching art! We are looking for: Summer Day Site Director (Part-Time) focusing on Art Summer Camp– 8:30a-4:00p; (hours and days vary by camp) Pay rate: The starting target pay rate is $20.50 per hour, potentially increasing to $22.50 based on longevity with the Park District.
Requirements
Camps operate from June 15 to July 31, with training scheduled during the week of June 8. Staff are expected to commit to working for the entire summer season Wage Range: $20.50 - $22.50, starting pay at the base of range.
