We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Primary Casualty team. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Primary Casualty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing risks, underwriting Primary Casualty insurance policies, and developing tailored insurance solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate is motivated to build and manage a book of profitable business while contributing to product development and special projects as requested. This individual must be a savvy, ambitious team player with a strong marketing persona.

Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate and analyze Primary Casualty risks.
- Policy Underwriting: Develop and underwrite Primary Casualty insurance policies, ensuring they meet the needs of clients while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks. Use this knowledge to inform underwriting decisions and policy development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure a holistic approach to risk management and policy issuance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (Primary Casualty)
- Bachelor's degree. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Team player that can provide creative solutions while working in a collaborative environment
- Engaged in industry organizations and events
- Strong broker relationship building skills
- Can thrive in a remote work environment and travel as required
Salary Information
$150,000 - $175,000
