Landscapes Golf Management and River Run Country Club are seeking a Part Time Camp Assistants for summer camp program. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and have a passion for outdoor activities. The Camp Assistant will support the camp program by providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all participants.
Camps will run Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. for the following weeks
Monday June 22 - Friday, June 26th
Monday June 29 - Friday, July 3rd
Monday July 20 - Friday July 24
Monday August 10 - Friya August 14

JOB SUMMARY
Provides a memorable and meaningful camp experience for campers assisting the Camp Counselor and Camp Director in administration of planned camp activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
- Ensures a safe and nurturing environment by constantly supervising and engaging the children through active play and structured activities.
- Assist campers in making new friends, trying new things and caring for their well-being.
- Monitors campers and responds to incidents such as behavioral problems or accidents; reports events to Camp Counselor or Camp Director.
- Acknowledges new families; answers all questions and reviews rules and policies. Ensures that the needs of the members are met and attended to.
- Ensures all children leave with the parent that they arrived with or who is assigned to pick them up.
- Maintains a clean environment for children through daily disinfecting, cleaning and vacuuming. Rooms must always be presentable.
- Sets up tables, chairs and activities before opening and stores them properly after closing.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
- Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
- Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Must be able to verbally communicate with children and members.
2. Able to provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- Successful completion of background investigation required.
- First aid and CPR training preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%%
- Standing and walking 50-75%
- Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 50-75%
- Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-24%
- Lift in excess of 30 pounds 0-24%
