Part TIme Housekeeper
Crane Memorial Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role supports infection prevention efforts by cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to hospital standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and public areas
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and remove trash
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Stock supplies such as paper products and soap
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and report maintenance needs
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
