Team Leadership & OperationsLead and develop a high-performing development teamEstablish strong systems, processes, and reporting structuresEnsure data integrity and donor tracking in SalesforceManage the development budget with stewardship and discipline
Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; specialization in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or Marketing strongly preferred5–10+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience requiredDemonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar fundraising portfolios requiredProven experience securing major gifts (six figures and above) requiredStrong understanding of donor psychology, stewardship, and relationship management requiredExperience working closely with executive leadership and boardsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills requiredExperience in human services, anti-trafficking, or mission-driven social impact organizations strongly preferredGrant writing and institutional fundraising experience preferredSalesforce administration experience (3–5 years) requiredCFRE or advanced fundraising certification strongly preferred
Position RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon successfully completing pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to ongoing compliance with these checks.Possession of a valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations.Working ConditionsAbility to lift objects up to 25 pounds and work for long periods at a computerModerate local travel required related to program and training needs, as well as occasional travel beyond the metro Atlanta area
