Description:
Dietary Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service
- Deliver meals to residents according to diet orders and preferences
- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Assist with special events, snacks, and hydration programs
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas, and equipment
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and linens
- Perform routine cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in dietary, housekeeping, or healthcare environment preferred (but not required)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts as needed
