About the Role

As a Welder at EBARA HG, you will play a key role in fabricating and assembling custom pumps and mixers used in demanding industrial applications. You’ll work from detailed engineering drawings to complete fit-up, welding, and finishing operations while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

This is a hands-on role suited for a motivated self-starter who values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, work orders, and technical instructions

• Perform fit-up, welding, grinding, and deburring operations

• Inspect work using appropriate gauges and measurement tools

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

• Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly

• Collaborate with multiple departments to support production efficiency

• Follow all company health and safety procedures

• Support additional production activities as required

What You Bring

• CWB Welding certification (required)

  • FCAW (carbon & stainless steel)

  • SMAW (carbon & stainless steel)

  • GTAW for stainless steel

• CWB W47.1 Carbon & Stainless certification (required)

• TSSA certification (asset)

• High school diploma (OSSD or GED); trade/technical diploma preferred

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or custom fabrication environment

• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and understand metrology

• Proficiency with manual and electrical tools

• Advanced math skills (geometry and trigonometry)

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced setting

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs)

• Reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling as part of daily work
