Location: Birmingham, AL | Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000
Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) is seeking a mission-driven Director of Accounting & Finance to lead financial strategy and operations that support our mission of empowering individuals through employment and education.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Lead cash management, audits, and compliance with nonprofit standards
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
- Supervise and develop a dedicated accounting team
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA (or in process).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and audits
- A collaborative leader with high integrity and strong communication skills
