Job Overview:
Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting products while adhering to established standards and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Assembly & Inspection: Assemble and inspect products in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring production and quality standards are met or exceeded while minimizing waste.
- Material Handling: Utilize various methods to efficiently move materials as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records related to production metrics, downtime, quality control, and maintenance activities.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and use measuring devices to verify that quality standards are met.
- Problem Recognition: Identify operating irregularities and machine malfunctions; take corrective action or notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform machine setups and preventative maintenance tasks as required.
- Production Goals: Meet or exceed production targets, and promptly communicate any deviations to the Team Lead or Manager.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, using protective equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Computer Proficiency: Complete necessary computer transactions using various applications and software.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving productivity and workplace safety; participate in improvement initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team member, fostering a cooperative environment and resolving problems collaboratively.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in all tasks.
Preferred Competencies:
- Basic measurement and gauging skills, including the use of calipers and hand tools.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
