Physical Therapist Tech Job Responsibilities:

Supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment and materials; performing procedures, under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Physical Therapist Tech Job Duties

• Assist with sanitization of therapy equipment
• Improve communication and patient engagement
• Improve overall patient satisfaction
• Improve office communication between administration and therapy teams•
• Assist with patient care and physical therapy treatment plan, including, but not limited to:

o Exercise instruction

o Verbal cueing on ergonomics/postural techniques

o Scheduling patients

o Scanning appropriate documents into computer system

o Issuing and fitting DME

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
