WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

We are seeking a Lead Service Tech/Mechanic to guide a small team of talented service technicians in delivering high-quality rebuilds and repairs that meet a wide range of customer engineering and equipment needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 1–4 Service Technicians on rebuild and repair projects
  • Disassemble and reassemble air seeding equipment to repair, test, and adjust as needed
  • Diagnose issues and repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools
  • Determine proper tools, equipment, and processes to complete mechanical tasks efficiently and safely
  • Drive pickups with trailers to transport tools and parts for on-site equipment repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with on-site customers
  • Apply sound reasoning and problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of work performed


Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of leadership experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel weekly
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Experience and technical knowledge of mechanical systems and agricultural equipment
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to overcome challenges independently
  • High attention to detail with strong hand-eye coordination
  • Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs; agile and dexterous
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Farming background and/or experience in the agricultural industry preferred
  • Clean driving record (no major violations)
  • Class A driver’s license (or ability to obtain)
