The Role
Exciting Full-Time Opportunity!
Join our team as a Janitor/Custodian and play an essential role in supporting foster youth within our community. This full-time, regular schedule position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) is based at a residential foster care facility where cleanliness, safety, and consistency truly matter.
Pay: $18/hr.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work in a temporary short-term care facility that provides services for foster children.
- Provide janitorial services (cleaning restrooms, taking out the trash, etc.) to classrooms, a gym and cottages.
Clean and disinfect common areas, offices, restrooms, and living spaces
- Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
- Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
What It Takes To Be Successful
- Ability to successfully complete Live Scan and obtain badge to work at the site
- Ability to work in various types of weather conditions (summer, winter, rain) both inside and outside
- Proficient verbal/written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to drive a golf cart
- 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred
