About this position

Procurement Manager, Capital Projects plays a critical role in enabling the effective, efficient, and timely execution of contracts and purchase orders required to support large-scale HPC and data center capital projects. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day procurement operations, including requisition review, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

Category Support & Purchase Order Execution

  • Review, validate, and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders across multiple capital projects.
  • Ensure purchase orders are issued accurately, promptly, and in alignment with approved budgets, schedules, and contract terms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acceptance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide operational support to Global Category Managers.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding and compliance documentation.
  • Support supplier performance tracking and issue resolution

Project Schedule & Delivery

  • Track order status and delivery milestones to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Identify and escalate potential delivery delays or risks.
  • Support logistics coordination and site deliveries as required.

Contract & Pricing Compliance

  • Ensure supplier pricing and commercial terms comply with executed contracts.
  • Support rate validation and discrepancy resolution.
  • Maintain accurate contract and pricing documentation.

Data, Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain accurate procurement data within ERP systems.
  • Support reporting on PO status, spend, and delivery performance.
  • Assist with cost and supplier performance analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement operations.
  • Experience supporting capital construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PO processes and supplier coordination.
  • Ability to manage high transaction volumes with accuracy.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting HPC or hyperscale data center projects.
  • Familiarity with long-lead capital equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • ERP and procurement system experience (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
