We’re seeking a Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive medical assessment and treatment to individuals served while providing clinical oversight, collaboration, and leadership within a multidisciplinary care team. This role blends hands-on patient care with supervision, consultation, and care coordination—ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compassionate medical services.
What You’ll Do
Conduct admission and annual medical examinations for individuals served. Provide ongoing medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care planning. Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) who perform medical examinations and clinical services. Respond to medical service requests promptly, thoroughly, and in accordance with clinical best practices. Order and review diagnostic studies, labs, and ancillary services to support effective treatment. Perform minor surgical procedures when credentialed and privileged to do so. Routinely review and reevaluate individuals requiring ongoing or consultative medical services and coordinate treatment planning. Document all medical services accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards, including annual review of medical policies and procedures. Collaborate closely with nursing, behavioral health, and clinical leadership to support integrated, patient-centered care.
What We’re Looking For
Education
MD or DO from an accredited university (required) Completion of an accredited primary care residency program in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, OB-GYN, or Pediatrics (required)
Experience
Two (2) years of post-residency clinical experience in an acute inpatient setting (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (required) Current DEA registration (required) Board certified or board eligible in a primary care specialty (must obtain certification within six months of hire) (required) Client-mandated certifications and/or training (required)
