About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinic LPN to join our team at Indian Health Services in Phoenix, AZ. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a clinical setting. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your main goal will be to promote patient health and wellness by providing excellent nursing care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active LPN license
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Primary Care, Specialty Clinic or Pediatrics experience
- REAL ID AND/OR PASSPORT REQUIRED Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS required
- Employee Health Clearance: Immunizations:
- Immunizations: (Proof of immunization or lab evidence of immunity or disease)
MMR #1 &2, Varicella #1 & 2; Hepatitis B #1, 2, 3 (or you may decline the Hep B)
Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within the past 10 years
TB skin test (2 total with results at least 10 days apart) or Quantiferon Gold
Influenza Current (October 1 – March 31)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Experience working with diverse patient population
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Federal background check required for clearance. IRS Collections and Defaulted Student Loans will prevent clearance.
Skills:
As an LPN Clinic, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and healthcare professionals. You will also use your organizational and time management skills to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing quality patient care. Additionally, your experience working with electronic medical records and diverse patient populations will be valuable in this role. Finally, your certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) will ensure that you are prepared to handle any emergency situations that may arise.
