About the Role:

The Production Liquids role is a critical position within the manufacturing sector focused on the efficient and safe production of liquid products. The primary objective is to oversee and manage the entire production process, ensuring that all liquid manufacturing operations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and production targets. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to optimize production flow and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, monitoring production parameters, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. Ultimately, this position ensures that liquid products are produced consistently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with liquid production processes.
  • Basic understanding of production machinery and equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret production documentation and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated production systems and process control software.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification in occupational safety or hazardous materials handling.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills related to liquid production equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment used in the manufacturing of liquid products to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Could work at any area of the Labeling line i.e. Capper, Packer, Tipping, Labeling
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent downtime and maintain product quality.
  • Follow and enforce all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards during production activities.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to perform product testing and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Document production data accurately and report any deviations or issues to management promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing production processes and reducing waste.
  • Train and support junior production staff to maintain high operational standards.

The required skills enable the candidate to operate and maintain production equipment effectively, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating with quality control and maintenance teams to resolve production issues promptly. Analytical skills are used to monitor production data and identify areas for process improvement. Preferred skills such as knowledge of automated systems and Lean methodologies help in optimizing production efficiency and reducing waste. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are critical for minimizing downtime and maintaining consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
