Accounting Process Manager
The Accounting Process Manager is responsible for supervising the Data Analyst/Reconciliation team, who are responsible for processing error reporting, error report corrections and key client reconciliations; and will also complete analysis and process improvement projects as needed.
Schedule: Regular business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday
Location: must be local to Chicago, IL or Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, on-site work is required.
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 annually

DAY TO DAY
The Accounting Process Manager will report directly to the CFO. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee the Data Analyst/Reconciliation team, who are responsible for processing error reporting, error report corrections and key client reconciliations. o Oversee the development of reports to identify Differences with clients for placements, payments and adjustmentsIdentify root causes for errors and data issues and partner with the IT Department to ensure proper follow-ups to prevent recurrenceDevelop reports to Sr. leadership on the type and frequency of data errors occurring within the function, to better understand how to address with clientsReview and develop current cycles for client reconciliations; recommend and implement necessary improvementsAssess the staff and determine appropriate staffing levelsImplement reports to identify differences between invoicing and payments from key customers, including Comcast, Charter and Sudden Link. Work with Client Services team to timely resolve ongoing differences and assist with collection of past due amounts.Lead and oversee the design, development and streamlining of Accounting Processes for the System of Record. This will involve working with IT and Operations to implement new processes and/or improve existing processes. o Payment ProcessingClient RemittancesNSF processingClient invoicingIntegration and interface between System-of-Record and Great PlainsComplete analysis and process improvement projects as required
WHAT YOU MUST POSSESS
Must Have:
- MUST HAVE Experience with Genesys Latitude. Please do not apply if you do not have experience with Latitude.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;5+ years of industry work experience, with experience to CUBS and Latitude systems.Advanced Excel proficiencyStrong analytical and written communication skillsStrong understanding of funds flow and processes for the debt collection industry
