About this position

Nex-Tech is offering a unique opportunity for students to join our Technology Education Sponsorship Program, designed to support students pursuing a degree for Telecommunications, Information Technology or Heavy Equipment Operations program at Fort Hays Tech | North Central. This sponsorship will cover tuition, books, and any necessary tools, while providing internship and employment opportunities at Nex-Tech.

The selected student will complete their studies at Fort Hays Tech | North Central and participate in a hands-on internship with Nex-Tech. Upon successful graduation, the student is expected to commit to a minimum of three years of full-time employment with Nex-Tech.

Program Overview:

  • Tuition & Expenses Coverage: Nex-Tech will sponsor the student’s required tuition, books, and tools (if applicable).
  • Internship & Employment Opportunities: The student will gain valuable internship experience and, upon program completion, a guaranteed employment offer with Nex-Tech for a minimum of three years. Nex-Tech will provide a housing allowance to the selected candidate who commits to a four-year employment agreement.
  • Eligibility: The student must have applied and been accepted to Fort Hays Tech | North Central’s Telecommunications, Information Technology or Heavy Equipment Operations and be accepted into Nex-Tech’s Technology Education Sponsorship Program. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the required coursework at Fort Hays Tech | North Central.
  • Participate in internships at Nex-Tech during the program.
  • Commit to a minimum of three years of employment with Nex-Tech post-graduation.

Qualifications:

  • Acceptance into a relevant Fort Hays Tech | North Central program.
  • Passion for technology, telecommunications or heavy equipment operations. 
  • Willingness to commit to the internship and employment agreement.
