About the Role

Are you a high-performing Lube Technician or GSA ready to take the next step in your career? Lube X-Press is looking for a Team Lead (3rd Key) to drive operational excellence and lead our shop floor.

In this role, you aren’t just a technician; you are a "player-coach." You will lead our signature 2/3-Man Process, mentor Lube Techs, and act as the Manager on Duty when leadership is off-site. What You’ll Do

• Lead the Floor: Oversee oil changes and fluid services to ensure they meet our high-quality Brand Standards.
• Manage the Experience: Use our POS system to provide personalized service recommendations and deliver a "Wow" experience to every guest.
• Drive Performance: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help the store qualify for monthly leadership bonuses.
• Ensure Safety: Maintain a clean, safe shop and ensure all team members are following PPE protocols.
• Supervise: Act as the 3rd Key Holder, taking responsibility for opening/closing or managing shifts as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an automotive or retail environment.
• Technical Skill: Proficiency as a Lube Tech/GSA and comfort operating shop equipment.
• Certifications: Must have (or be able to obtain) Texas State Inspection (TSI) and GSA (True Brand/Shell) certifications.
• Communication: Strong English skills (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
• Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in shop conditions (heat/noise).
