Are you an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor looking for an opportunity to join an organization that is focused on growth, opportunity and talent? Deceuninck North America is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for the Monroe, Ohio facility.
Our supervisors are empowered to provide guidance, support and mentorship to employees with the goal of achieving short and long-term business objectives to ensure growth and maximize performance.
Shift: Days/Nights; 12 Hours; 2-2-3 shift pattern
What you will do:
- Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.
- Assesses competency and capabilities of direct reports, ensuring employee development.
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.
- Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Lead by example.
- Own safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions. Participates on Safety Committee with meaningful contributions.
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Two to four years of frontline supervision experience. Manufacturing Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles. Green/Black Belt preferred.
- Proven ability to mentor and manage employees.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency.
