Were seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to
oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, construction, and grounds
care. In this role, youll work directly with the Facility Maintenance Director
to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, mechanical standards, and all
applicable codes. When needed, youll also step in as the interim Facility
Maintenance Directorproviding leadership and stability for the team.
What Youll Do
- Review
maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and assign departmental work.
- Monitor
maintenance staff operations, prepare schedules, and oversee workforce
performance.
- Address
compliance issues with accrediting bodies, building codes, and
state/federal regulations.
- Maintain
detailed records, manage inventory, and purchase supplies from approved
vendors.
- Oversee
vendor contracts, ensuring services meet contractual agreements and
building codes.
- Inspect
and schedule preventative maintenance for buildings, equipment, and
grounds.
- Provide
oversight through active Management by Walking Around leadership.
- Manage
on-call system and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
What Were Looking For
Education & Training
- High
school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelors
degree in engineering, construction management, or business (preferred)
Experience
- Five
(5) years of facilities management experience, including three (3) in a
management role (required)
- Inpatient
or residential healthcare facility experience (preferred)
Licenses/Certifications
- Professional
certifications such as PE, CHFM, CFM, CHSP, GC, or PMP (preferred)
