About The RoleReporting to the Mechanical Service Manager and the Operations Manager, the Journeyperson Millwright will be responsible for working with the Okanagan team to meet specified requirements from internal and external customers on a casual/contract basis.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Accurately interpret blueprints and schematics to install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment;Travel to multiple wastewater and water treatment plants in Vernon;Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations;Completion of all paperwork as required.What You BringThe ideal candidate is not only determined to meet customer demands but understands what it really means to be part of a team representing a Company of highly skilled trades. Our Must Haves

Red Seal Millwright certification;Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation;Experience working in industrial or commercial services will be considered an asset.

Wage: $40.00-$44.00 per hourPlease note - the listed hourly rate is dependent on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
