York Building Products has been grinding for 85+ years. Family-owned. Stable. Growing. We’re looking for a hands-on millwright who can weld, fabricate, and keep industrial equipment alive under real production pressure.
If you know your way around conveyors, gearboxes, and steel — and don’t mind getting dirty — this is steady work with a company that respects skilled trades.
THE WORK
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery
- Weld pipe, cut steel, and fabricate parts
- Work on conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and keep downtime low
- Grease, service, and maintain equipment
- Run hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment daily
- Operate manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
- Work at heights and in tight spaces when needed
- Follow safety rules — no shortcuts
WHAT YOU BRING
- Real millwright or industrial mechanic experience
- Experience in aggregates, ready-mix concrete, asphalt or the heavy metals industry
- Solid welding and fabrication skills
- Conveyor and mechanical know-how
- Can troubleshoot problems without babysitting
- Comfortable with physical, demanding work
- Safety-minded and dependable
- Valid driver’s license
