Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a reliable and flexible Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Float to support multiple specialty practices across our Collier County locations. This role is ideal for a clinically strong, adaptable MA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with various providers, teams, and workflows. The Float CMA plays a critical role in maintaining continuity of care and supporting clinic operations as staffing needs arise.


Key Responsibilities

  • Float between assigned Precision Healthcare Specialists locations within Collier County as scheduled or needed
     
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and document chief complaints
     
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during in-office procedures
     
  • Perform clinical duties including (within scope and training):
     
    • Injections and venipuncture
       
    • Specimen collection and point-of-care testing
       
    • EKGs and other diagnostic testing as applicable
       
  • Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and prepared
     
  • Accurately document all clinical interactions in the EMR
     
  • Provide patient education and post-visit instructions
     
  • Support front office or clinical workflows as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
     
  • Follow all infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
     
  • Adapt quickly to different specialties, providers, and clinic workflows
Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
     
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required
     
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical MA experience preferred
     
  • Experience working in multiple specialties or float roles preferred
     
  • Proficiency with EMR systems
     
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
     
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Collier County locations
     
  • Professional, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
     
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
     
  • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
