Position Summary:
Luxcur Medstaff Agency is seeking reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide direct patient care and support services through supplemental staffing assignments in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient environments. Work schedules may vary based on client needs and facility requirements. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to supporting quality care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Location:
Multiple Client Sites – Maryland (Assignments vary by availability)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support services
- Observing patients and reporting changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
- Assisting with patient transfers, positioning, and use of mobility aids
- Perform duties in accordance with Maryland law and COMAR regulations
- Comply with Luxcur Medstaff Agency policies and procedures
- Follow applicable client facility policies and requirements
- Perform only those duties that are within the CNA/GNA scope of practice
- Performing additional duties required by the client facility that are consistent with training, certification, competency, and scope of practice
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Certification: Current, active Maryland CNA and/or GNA certification
Training: Completion of a Maryland-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
Experience: Two (2) years' experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings preferred but not required
Skills: Compassionate patient care, strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different care environments
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, reposition, and transfer patients, and perform physically demanding tasks
Flexibility: Shifts may include day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday assignments based on availability and client needs

Luxcur Medstaff Agency offers a competitive compensation package designed to support our healthcare support professionals.
Competitive Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, certification, and assignment location
