About the role As a Seasonal Home Care Specialist (Pest Control Technician), you will be the frontline hero keeping our community’s homes pest-free during our busiest season. This is a route-based position ideal for those seeking entry-level general labor or field service experience. You will join a high-energy team that values independence, where you will lead your daily operations in the field while receiving full support from our management team.
What you'll do
- Earn Competitive Pay: We offer tiered hourly rates based on your experience level:
- No Experience (Entry Level): $18.00/hr ($27.00/hr Overtime)
- 1–2 Years Experience: $20.00/hr ($30.00/hr Overtime)
- 3+ Years Experience (Pest Pro): $22.00/hr ($33.00/hr Overtime)
- Maximize Your Income: Take advantage of abundant overtime (OT) opportunities (40–50+ hours per week expected) and a performance bonus of up to $750 per month based on KPIs and service upsells.
- Inspect & Treat: Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties and apply safe, effective pest control solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Manage Your Route: Start your day from home using a fully equipped company service vehicle and gas card to travel to scheduled appointments.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Act as a professional field representative, responding to inquiries and solving pest issues on-site.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere strictly to product labels and state regulations while keeping your vehicle and equipment in top working order.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ready to work a full-time seasonal schedule now through late fall.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (3+ years of driving experience required).
- Physical Ability: Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, crawl, and work outdoors in various weather conditions (including attics and crawl spaces).
- Reliability: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: No experience is required—we provide full paid training—though a background in pest control, landscaping, or construction is a plus.
