Distribution Specialist

We are currently seeking Distribution Specialists for our Menomonee Falls location.  

Job Summary: The Distribution Specialist is responsible for loading and unloading products and goods entering and exiting the building, ensuring inventory accuracy, and quality control, all conducted within appropriate time frames while maintaining communication of process and issues with appropriate team members. 

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Unload, receive, verify, and store incoming goods per JAX protocol.
• Verify contents received against purchase orders
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage/defects and report incidents to the purchaser for resolution.
• Ensure each product is scannable prior to moving goods to racking.
• Maintain storage of incoming goods and continue to seek storage process improvements, i.e., location transfers, consolidation, and replenishment
• Manage efficient disposal of broken or wasted goods throughout the warehouse, broken pallets, stained boxes, etc.
• Route returned goods through the JAX RGA procedure.
• Monitor quantity of old and unused products. Inform leadership and the lab when quantity levels are sufficient to dispose or re-use
• Audit outgoing orders to ensure correct part numbers and batch numbers are being shipped
• Load outgoing trucks.
• Assist in inventory tasks and cycle counting. 
• Partner with other areas/departments as needed.
• Progress in your distribution career to increasingly more independent and advanced roles
• Other duties as assigned

 Required Skills and Abilities:

• Attention to detail.
• Self-starter with good focus and responsive to requests 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
