About this position

ChefSuite, a full-service commercial cooking facility with private kitchens rented by restauranteurs for the preparation of food for pick-up and delivery, seeks an experienced and detail-oriented  Line Cook at our Richmond, Virginia facility to prepare high-quality dishes while following set recipes and procedures. You'll work alongside a team to ensure clean, safe, and efficient kitchen operations. 

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and portion control standards.
  • Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Stock, label, and rotate ingredients to ensure proper food safety protocols.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
