SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

We're looking for an experienced Video Editor that is passionate about developing and crafting stories which connect with our fanbase and commercial partner briefs while pushing the envelope of how these stories are told.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about our sports and the outdoor category as a whole while working closely with partners, athletes, creatives and producers – both internally and externally – to collaborate and support the development and execution of original video content across various U.S. Ski & Snowboard platforms.

This role will be primarily focused on the delivery of compelling video content using live feed assets available to us through global broadcasting partners and photography sources, packaging those assets and quickly delivering to our platforms.

Secondary to this aim is to support branded content originally produced by the Content and Creative department.

The right person for this position must be a master of their craft and well-versed in the post production process of telling concise, visually pleasing stories with a socially-native editing sensibility within a live sports environment.

The ideal candidate will also have on-snow camera experience and will know how to shoot action and lifestyle on the mountain, in training environments and at our headquarters in Park City – the Center of Excellence – with company-provided equipment.

This position will support the Content & Creative department by playing a significant role in the evolution of our production capabilities as we continue to push the boundaries in video storytelling to help grow our audience, and support our athletes and partners to reach their goals.

This position will travel for a portion of the season with the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team.

Edit high quality, behind the scenes, event, partner, live and original content on a regular basis.

Execute post-production tasks such as audio editing and color correction.

Finalize the edit, clearing any relevant footage/music and produce all the relevant deliverables.

Stay up to date on current editing trends and techniques to enhance storytelling and content performance.

Help manage and organize projects on media servers and export, compress and reformat video files as needed.

Create title cards, video thumbnails and other graphics as needed and possess the ability to work with provided Visual Identity Systems.

Travel to ski and snowboard events, partner meetings and video shoots as required.
