Job Title: Lead Rigging Specialist
Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $35-$38 / hour

Job Title: Lead Rigging Specialist
Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Supervisor: Rigging Services Manager
Responsibilities:
· Daily set, operation, and strike of rigging hoists and truss in a hospitality environment
· Establish hang-point, motor attachment to permanent rigging points, GAC Flex spanset attachments to trusses, run and dress motor cables, focus audio hangs, run cable picks
· Ensure safety of scenic elements, all truss bolts and tightened and all flown equipment has appropriate safeties attached
· Supervise all full-time, part-time, and external rigging labor during events
· Remain on site until all motors have been raised to show trim height
· Verify any possible rigging obstacles with incoming rig plots. Coordinate load-in schedule with Rigging Services Manager and AV Operations
· Maintain ongoing visual inspection of all hardware, including motors and lifts
· Complete all required daily paperwork, as well as required ON Site training
· Any duties as assigned to support property Director, to assist in goals of growing revenue, cutting cost, improving customer service scores, or problem resolution
Education/Experience/Certification:
· High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
· Three years’ experience rigging in audio visual or staging environment
· ETCP Arena Rigging Certification required
· Written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English required. Fluency in a second language is helpful
· Organization skills and attention to detail are essential
· Must have finger dexterity to operate office and audio visual equipment as needed
· Proficiency in computer skills must be demonstrated, including CAD and Microsoft Office
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
· Requires physical mobility, including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, climbing, crawling, grasping, writing, repetitive motions, bending, listening, with applicable hearing and vision ability
· Work is performed indoors and outdoors as needed
