We are seeking a Part-Time or PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Kensington clinic team, with primary availability on Saturdays. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, team-oriented, and passionate about helping patients return to function in a supportive outpatient environment.
Responsibilities:
Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and guided exercise programs
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery progression
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, individualized care
Requirements:
Current Maryland state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based setting
Availability for Saturday coverage (Part-Time or PRN)
Outpatient and/or orthopedic experience preferred
