We are seeking an Area Operations Manager to join our growing team. The Area Operations Manager is responsible for providing high-level operational oversight across multiple HHM Health clinics and service lines. This role supports and supervises Clinic Managers to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient clinic operations, while fostering a culture of accountability and patient-centered care.
Here's a sneak peek at what you will do:
- Supervise and support Clinic Managers across multiple locations.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and coverage for clinical support teams.
- Monitor operational performance metrics (patient volume, wait times, staffing ratios) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Conduct site visits and compliance with walkthroughs to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Lead training, onboarding, and performance coaching for management and support staff.
- Serve as the escalation point for operational and patient-related concerns.
- Collaborate cross-functional with Facilities, IT, HR, Compliance, and senior leadership.
- Oversee scheduling template optimization to improve provider productivity and patient access.
- Manage new clinic site setups, closures, equipment readiness, and third-party vendor coordination.
- Drive quality assurance initiatives, including audits, evaluations, and patient satisfaction improvement efforts.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, increase revenue, and align with organizational goals and mission.
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors preferred or equivalent combination of experience/education;
- 3–5 years of healthcare operations or clinic leadership experience required
- Demonstrated experience managing or supervising multiple clinic locations or teams
- Knowledge of outpatient clinic workflows, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strategic, adaptable, and collaborative problem-solver who fosters a positive team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), electronic health records (eCW preferred), and operations tracking
- Flexibility to travel between clinics and locations
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese or Rohingya to assist a diverse patient population.
