About this position
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides high-quality clinical care to patients receiving infusion therapy in an outpatient infusion center. This role includes patient assessment, plan-of-care development, medication administration, and clinical oversight of nursing staff while ensuring safe, compliant, and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform patient assessments and develop, document, and manage plans of care
• Supervise and support infusion nursing staff during patient care delivery
• Prepare and administer infusion therapies in accordance with provider orders and regulations
• Monitor patient response and manage adverse reactions within scope of practice
• Coordinate care with prescribing providers and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
• Provide patient and caregiver education related to infusion therapies
Qualifications
Required:
• MSN or DNP from an accredited nursing program
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and Michigan licensure
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with electronic medical records
Preferred:
• Infusion therapy experience
• Infusion oncology experience a plus
• CRNI or other infusion-related certification
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, typical business hours. Occasional schedule adjustments based on operational needs.
