JOB SUMMARY
The Café associate ensures customers receive the highest level of customer service possible by taking employee and customer orders in friendly, efficient and polite manner.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serves as a customer service contact for all employees and customers at the café, including answering questions, welcoming, and other communications
· Process and prepare food/drunk orders
· Follow all food safety guidelines
· Responsible for running the cash register
· Follows café policies and procedures
· Assists in keeping the café area clean, neat and orderly at all times
· Maintains all required training, city, state certifications.
· Responsible for other duties as assigned
· Ability to show up to work on time

· Must be highly motivated
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent management and leadership skills
· Good organizational skills
· An understanding of food and beverage operations
· Must be able to workdays, evenings, and weekends as necessary- Full-time position and required to fill in when needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience in food and beverage service is preferred
· Experience in the hospitability industry is preferred
· High school diploma required
· Must be able to pass a Background check
