Job Description
Jerry's Chevrolet currently has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Advisor! Great team with plenty of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer needs and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Prepare accurate estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Review all Multipoint inspections with customers.
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by listening to the customer's concerns and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
- Keep customers informed of status of vehicle throughout the service process.
- Maintains Green CSI monthly in accordance to factory standards.
- Complete and maintain all Factory training for Certification.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience preferred
- CDK/ADP experience a plus but not required.
- Great customer service skills. Individuals must be welcoming and friendly.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
