What We’re Looking For:

The Sourcing Manager leads strategic sourcing to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply chains that fuel production and profitability. You’ll manage a team of buyers, negotiate contracts, drive savings, and mitigate risks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop a team of buyers; oversee daily operations and performance. 
  • Supply Assurance: Guarantee raw materials and finished goods availability to meet production schedules. 
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze vendor pricing and lead initiatives to achieve annual savings targets, including programs to offset wage inflation. 
  • Vendor Management: Maintain scorecards, enforce contract terms, and cultivate strategic partnerships. 
  • Contract Negotiation: Secure favorable terms with new suppliers and refresh agreements with existing ones. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to source innovative materials and components. 
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor supply-chain trends, commodity fluctuations, and risks to proactively adjust strategies. 
  • Process Excellence: Design and audit ERP workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency. Understands changes and fluctuations in the supply chain through market analysis and research that can impact the cost and/or production.   
Requirements:
  •  7+ years’ experience of sourcing and procuring in a manufacturing environment. 
  • 2-4 years of management experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.  

Preferred education and experience 

  • MBA or the equivalent experience  
  • Experience and/or knowledge of TPS and other lean tools
