Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Sales SupportDepartment: SalesReports To: Sales ManagerLocation: USply OfficeUSply is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our growing sales organization. This role is essential to ensuring accurate order processing, proactive inventory coordination, and strong communication across departments.The CSR serves as a key liaison between customers, outside sales representatives, operations, logistics, and production. This position requires ownership, accountability, and a proactive mindset to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to develop strong product knowledge and business acumen.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Management & Customer SupportAccurately enter and process customer orders within the ERP systemConfirm pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery requirementsServe as a primary point of contact for customers and outside sales representativesProactively identify potential order or delivery issues and communicate solutionsInventory & Logistics CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and communicate stock statusCoordinate stock transfers and shipments to fulfill ordersTrack shipments and resolve delivery issues with operations and carriersEscalate production or supply constraints while proposing alternative solutionsSales Team SupportProvide timely support to outside sales reps, including documentation and order updatesMaintain accurate quotes, pricing updates, and customer recordsProduct Knowledge & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and maintain knowledge of USply products, specifications, and applicationsAssist customers with product recommendations and troubleshootingSupport reporting related to order activity and inventory trendsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experienceAdditional DutiesAssist with samples, marketing projects, presentations, and trade shows as neededPerform other duties as assigned to support company objectivesQualificationsRequiredExperience in customer service, order entry, or sales support (distribution or manufacturing preferred)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsPreferredExperience in building materials, wood products, or industrial distributionStrong cross-department problem-solving abilitiesKey CompetenciesOwnership and accountabilityAttention to detailProactive communicationCustomer-first mindsetCross-functional collaborationCommitment to continuous learning
