Outpatient Therapist

For over 50 years, New Horizons Mental Health Services, a non-profit behavioral health agency, has worked to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community through our services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist in Lancaster, Ohio.

What will do you?

Outpatient Therapists provide meaningful individual and family psychotherapy for adults and children in clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and family psychotherapy with adults or children
• Conduct clinical diagnostic assessments and develop ISPs
• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency mental health services
• Complete documentation and reports
• Link clients to resources and monitor progress
• Administrative tasks like meetings, clinical supervision, and collaboration with other departments

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Ohio licensure required (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC).
• Two years post-licensure experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-5-TR and therapy modalities.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
