Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee our SAP implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex SAP projects, from initiation to completion.

This is a part-time role based in North Carolina, with the expectation of travel to our project site in Lexington, KY, as needed. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects, while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning - Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
  • Stakeholder Management - Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners.
  • Risk Management - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Budget & Schedule - Monitor and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure the quality of project deliverables and that they meet the defined success criteria.
  • Reporting - Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
  • Project Closure - Manage the successful closure of projects, including formal sign-off, documentation, and lessons learned.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience - 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing SAP implementation or support projects.
  • Skills - Strong understanding of SAP methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Certifications - PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Abilities - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge - Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Software - Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
