Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world, focused on slime, hands-on play, and all things #satisfying. Sloomoo launched in October of 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, where hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and the most delicious scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights (you can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design your own slime, and more) converge with glossy, contemporary design.

Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.

MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.

The brand has been featured in People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, INC,  and more.

Position Summary

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing all in-house slime production, inventory management, and quality control for the location. This role ensures that every batch of slime meets Sloomoo’s high standards for texture, consistency, color, and creativity while supporting retail, experience, and event needs.

Responsibilities: 

Production & Quality Control

• Lead daily slime production to meet retail, experiential, and event demand.

• Ensure all recipes are executed accurately and consistently.

• Maintain strict quality standards across texture, scent, color, and presentation.

• Test batches and troubleshoot production issues in real time.

• Document recipes, batch yields, and process updates.

Inventory & Supply Management

• Monitor raw material inventory levels and forecast production needs.

• Partner with management on ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships.

• Minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.

• Maintain organized, clean, and compliant production spaces.

Team Leadership

• Train and coach production team members on recipes, processes, and quality standards.

• Create daily and weekly production schedules.

• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and positivity.

• Support cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Experience, and Events teams.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and handling procedures.

• Maintain production equipment and escalate repair needs.

• Track KPIs related to yield, waste, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

• Identify and implement process improvements.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in production, manufacturing, food & beverage, cosmetics, or similar hands-on environment.

• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet.

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Minimum age: 18 years.
