The Internship Opportunity: Customer Service
The Port of Virginia – Virginia Port Authority is seeking a Customer Service Intern that will be involved in daily activities supporting Microsoft Dynamics & looking for industry trends that can be targeted for education or self-help for customers.
The Port of Virginia's 8-Week Summer Internship Program runs from June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025, and is designed to develop, teach, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students as they explore career opportunities within the maritime industry. Students will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to hands on, project-focused tasks in various departments throughout The Port of Virginia.
What You’ll Do: Outcomes & Experience
- Gain deeper knowledge of systems used to support Customer Service and Port Operations.
- Networking in logistics industry, enhancing knowledge of who is responsible for each part of the supply chain, and how problems arise & are resolved.
Who You Are: Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled and in an accredited program or graduate program (having completed freshman / first year) during the time of the program.
- Must be available to work full time (40 hours per week) from June 2, 2025 to July 25, 2025.
- Must attach a resume and cover letter.
