Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our expanding Pre-Litigation Department. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of personal injury law, exceptional client-service skills, and the ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement. 

Responsibilities  

• Manage and oversee a high-volume docket of personal injury cases from intake to settlement 
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiations, and Liens, to ensure seamless communication and case progression 
• Conduct liability analysis, evaluate coverage, and develop case strategies that support successful resolution 
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing clear updates and high-quality service throughout each stage of representation 
• Review and assess medical records, police reports, discovery documents, and insurance materials to determine case value and settlement potential 
• Draft and respond to correspondence, demand letters, and settlement communications 
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to obtain favorable outcomes for clients 
• Prepare cases for litigation handoff when settlement cannot be achieved 
• Maintain accurate and detailed notes in the firm’s case management system 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing 
• Minimum 5 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience required 
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision 
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills 
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management 
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite 
• Commitment to exceptional client service and high professional standards 

Salary Range: $80,000.00 – $200,000.00
