Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator to support our growing international and cross-border logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating in-bond shipments, export documentation, and cross-border cargo movements between the U.S. and Latin America, ensuring compliance with CBP regulations and internal operational procedures. The ideal candidate has strong logistics coordination skills, excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish, and experience in air cargo, freight forwarding, or e-commerce logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily cross-border shipments, including air, ground, and bonded cargo movements
- Prepare and review shipping documentation such as MAWB, HAWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and in-bond (7512) documentation
- Ensure compliance with CBP, TSA, and international shipping regulations
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues
- Coordinate with airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, brokers, and overseas partners
- Support FTZ, bonded warehouse, and in-bond transit operations as required
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems (Magaya, CargoWise, Descartes, or similar)
- Assist with shipment tracking, exception management, and operational reporting
- Communicate with customers and partners in both English and Spanish
- Support volume planning and operational readiness for peak cross-border periods
Qualifications Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, air cargo, or cross-border operations
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation and international logistics processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience with in-bond shipments (7512), FTZ, or bonded warehouse operations
- Experience with logistics software such as Magaya, CargoWise, or similar
- Experience with e-commerce logistics (TEMU, Shein, Amazon, etc.)
- Knowledge of CBP and international shipping compliance Skills & Competencies
