Project Details (Size, SOW, Site Background, etc.):
The GSA intends to construct a federal tenant space (approximately 56,000 USF) for office and other use on floors 2 through 6 of the SNPFB. Additional tasks in floors 7, 8, and 9 Floors: Furniture disposal and demolition of High-Density Storage. The renovation and reconfiguration of space require demolition, interior construction and associated plumbing, fire protection, electrical, lighting, HVAC and Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E). Other services required include existing furniture disposal, new furniture procurement and install, audio visual & move coordination.
Per FAR 36.204, the Estimated Construction Cost range between $10M and $20M.
The Estimated Construction Duration is 1 year.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage the inspections of physical work performance and installations of materials/components.
- Oversee technical and administrative activities for the project
- Review and approve drawings as design reviewers and changes to contract documents.
- Assist the government in providing direction and control of design and construction phase activities.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Review and prepare invoices
- Perform the construction and closeout phase services in accordance with the SOW to ensure that the A/E's design intent is refined and clarified as necessary during construction, realized in the completed facility, and conveyed successfully into the facility management, operation, and maintenance of the completed building.
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc.):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of architecture and engineering, construction, or business management
- Able to obtain a HSPD-12 clearance.
- Experience in general construction techniques with particular emphasis on inspecting electrical, mechanical and plumbing scopes of work.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations with 30HR OSHA Safety card (prior to start)
- Ability and experience in the inspection of materials, workmanship, and construction and installation of various systems (such as fire alarms systems) within the inspector's area of expertise.
- Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of software including Kahua, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Primavera or equivalent scheduling software, review submittals, RFI's, and transmission of digital progress photos.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction or any related fields preferred
